Aptiva - How to move the Windows 95 or Windows 98 swap file to a different partition
Applicable to: World-Wide
In Windows 95 or 98:
1. Click on Start, Settings, then Control Panel.
2. Double click on the System Icon.
3. Click on the Tab labled Performance.
4. Click on the button marked Virtual Memory... .
5. Click on the radio button to the left of "Let me specify my own virtual memory settings".
6. Click on the Down arrow to the right of " Hard disk:".
7. Choose the desired location for the Swap file.
8. Click OK.
9. In the "Confirm Virtual Memory Settings" dialog box, click on Yes to continue.
10. Click on Close to exit System Properties.
11. Click on Yes to restart the computer.
