Aptiva - 2158/2163 Rapid Access Keyboard and Scrollpoint Mouse re-installation instructions

The following directions will allow you to re-install the drivers for the Rapid Access Keyboard and the Scrollpoint Mouse.

1. Shutdown the system and make sure that the ScrollPoint Mouse and Rapid Access Keyboard are connected properly.
2. Power up the system and insert the Applications CD.
3. From the Start menu, choose Run.
4. Type G:\DISK\RAK\V1003\SETUP and click on OK.
5. Select OK to start installation.
6. At end of installation select "No, I do not want to Restart"
7. From the Start menu, choose Run.
8. Type G:\DISK\SPMOUSE\V821\SETUP and click on OK.
9. Select OK to start installation.
10. Select Express Setup.
11. Select "Restart system" and Finish.
12. After the system restarts, select OK to Setup Mouse, clicking all of the default selections.
13. Close the Mouseware Control Panel by clicking OK.
14. Close the Mouseware window.
15. Both devices should work normally.
