Aptiva - Pre-loaded diagnostics give incorrect result with user installed B drive

Description:
If one installs an additional diskette drive and uses the pre-loaded diagnostics, the diagnostics will report the new diskette drive is operating incorrectly.
Possible Errors reported:
FORMAT A: = FORMAT FAILURE 'DISK IS WRITE PROTECTED'
FORMAT B: = FORMATTED 3.5" FDD
Resolution:
Disconnect the user added FDD before running diagnostics.
