Aptiva - 2140-LQ4/LQ5 Reinstalling the Gaming Munitions Manager

Use these instructions to re-install Gaming Munitions Manager (GMM) if you have uninstalled it using the Aptiva Installer or Add/Remove Programs.
- Restart the system.
- After Windows 95 has started, unplug the gamepad and plug it back in again.
- Windows will detect an unknown device.
- Click on 'other locations'.
- Insert the Diagnostics CD.
- Either type in 'g:\disk\gamepad\v1224e' or click on browse and naviagate to this folder.
- Click on OK.
- The Update Device Driver Wizard will now show that it has found the Alps USB Gamepad.
- Click on 'Finish'.
- An error message will come up - 'Please insert the disk labelled "Alps USB Gamepad Install Disk" and then click OK'.
- Click on OK.
- In the 'copy files from' box, change it from 'C:\windows\options\cabs' to 'g:\disk\gamepad\v1224e'.
- GMM files will be copied.
- GMM setup program will automatically run.
- Remove the Diagnostics CD.
- Restart the computer .
GMM will now be available on the Start Menu.
