TP Dock II - How to disable the SCSI BIOS

How to disable the SCSI BIOS on the Dock II.

Note: Method 1 is the preferred method as it is a more reliable means of accomplishing SCSI BIOS Disabling.

Docking Station 2:
Method 1:
1. Remove the cover from the Docking Station.
a. Remove two thumbscrews on rear of dock.
b. Pull cover forward and then up.
2. Locate the SCSI dip switch block.
3. Set switches are follows. 1-on, 2-on, 3-on, 4-off (off is to the right, on is to the left.)
4. Replace cover, and Thumbscrews.

Method 2:
1. Cold Boot system,
2. When the CTRL+A prompt appears during POST shows press CTRL+A.
3. Select - "Configure/View Host Adapter Settings".
4. Use Down Arrow to Highlight, "Advanced Configuraiton Options".
5. Press Enter.
6. Use Down Arrow to Highlight "Host Adapter BIOS".
7. Press Enter.
8. Highlight "Disable".
9. Press Enter.
10. Press the ESC key, twice and then Y for Yes.
11. Press the ESC key, then Y for Yes, then any key to reboot system.

SCSI BIOS has been disabled.
