Network Station - NC Navigator: Saving bookmarks/options error

Symptom:
Pop-up error window displays "error saving bookmarks/options" when the "root" user logs on to the Network Station.
The error does not occur when signing on with another userid.
Resolution:
This is an AIX operating system security design function. It is recommended that "root" be reserved for administrative tasks.
Note:
If this error occurs on another userid (other than root), check the directory for the correct authority.
The bookmarks.htm, and pref file are located at: /usr/netstation/nsm/users/<userid>/login/ . For systems that have migrated from NSM 2.5+ to NSM 3.x, delete the pref file. Then reboot the Network Station, and start NC Navigator. This will recreate the pref file that points to the correct directory (where pref, and bookmarks.htm are located).
