Aptiva - 2144/2168-1xx Danish software not functioning
Applicable to: Denmark
Problem:
The 2168-1xx and 2144-1xx systems in Denmark experience a problem when trying to install software "Kort & Matrikelstyrelsen Topografisk Atlas"; a topographical atlas of Denmark.
The installation restults in the following message:
"_INS0432 CAUSED AN ILLEGAL PAGE FAULT IN MODULE KERNEL32.DLL, ADRESS 0137:BFF9A28C"
Solution:
Update the ODBC drivers from the Microsoft Web Site (See Reference below). The update file for the ODBC drivers is WX1350.EXE. When ran, it calls itself the "Microsoft Data Access Pack".
When the install screen appears select and install the "Data Access Drivers". Once installation is complete, reboot the system. The Topographic Atlas can now be installed and run without error.
