PS/1 - Copying files from Drive A to Drive B and vice versa using the DOSShell

To copy files between diskette drives, follow the steps below.
From the DOSShell:
1. Place the diskettes in their proper drives.
2. Select the drive icon (picture) in the upper left corner that contains the file(s) to be copied to the other drive.
3. You will notice that the diskette contents will be read from the drive selected in step 2. Select the directory on the left side of the screen, and the file(s) to be copied on the right side. The file(s) should be highlighted.
4. Select File from the menu bar.
5. Select Copy from the File menu.
6. The filename of the file to be copied will appear in the "From:" line in the Copy window. On the "To:" line, type the drive letter that the file is to be copied to (either A: or B:). You may also include the directory that you want the file to be copied to. There is no need to retype the filename.
7. Press [Enter] once the path is entered in the "To:" line.
8. The file will now be copied to the diskette in the designated drive as long as there is enough space on the diskette.
