Aptiva - Adding or clearing borders around paragraphs in Works

This article describes the process of adding and removing borders around paragraphs in the Works for Windows Word Processor.

Adding a Border:
1. Highlight each paragraph to which you want to add a border.
2. From the Format menu, choose Border.
3. Under Border, select the options you want: Outline, Top, Bottom, Left, or Right. If the option box is unavailable (dimmed), then the option is already set for part of the selected text.
4. Under Line Style, select the Normal, Bold, or Double option button.
5. Choose the OK button.

Removing a Border:
1. Place the cursor in the bordered paragraph or select the paragraphs with the border.
2. From the Format menu, choose Borders.
3. Press the SPACEBAR or click the left mouse button to clear the appropriate check boxes. If the boxes are unavailable (dimmed), you may need to select them twice to clear them.
