DVD or read/write CD availability for the IBM Intellistation
Applicable to: World-Wide
Currently IBM does not have a DVD or Rewritable CD for IntelliStations. Work is underway to provide both of these products as Options for the Intellistation and PC Desktops machines around the 4th Quarter 1998 or 1st Quarter 1999 time frame. The first DVD product that will be coming out first will be ROM only. We do not expect to have a RAM DVD product until around mid 1999.
