PS/1 - Add memory to PS/1 486DX G72, S70, W67, and P74
Applicable to: United States
These PS/1 486DX models all have 4MB of system board memory. The memory slots will accommodate 2, 4, 8, or 16MB, 72-pin, 36-bit (parity) Single In-line Memory Modules (SIMMs). SIMMs plug into your system board planar. SIMMS purchased for these systems MUST be non-IBM SIMMS. IBM PS/2 SIMMs use gold tabs that are incompatible with these systems. Non-IBM SIMMs with tin-lead tabs MUST be used.
