PS/1-Aptiva - How to avoid a blank line printing in a database merge
Applicable to: United States
To suppress blank lines or spaces, do the following:
1. Sort the Database records on the field that has blank entries. This sort will put these records at the end of the record list.
2. Hide these records so they will not be accessed in the print merge.
3. Perform the print merge.
4. Hide the set of printed records and show the records which were previously hidden.
5. Eliminate the blank field placeholder from the print merge main document in the word processor.
6. Perform the print merge. No blank lines or spaces occur.
