What can ServerGuide do for me?
ServerGuide is the IBM PSG Deployment product for IBM Netfinity and IBM PC Server systems. ServerGuide was designed to enable ease of hardware setup and configuration and NOS installation.
ServerGuide provides value-add applications such as Netfinity Manager for Intel systems management and Lotus Domino.
IBM Update Connector will connect to the IBM web site for the server's BIOS, drivers and application updates.
What languages does ServerGuide support?
ServerGuide provides translation support for: US English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese.
ServerGuide provides NT 4.0 retail installation for the above languages only.
What version of ServerGuide is shipping?
NOTE: WHILE SERVERGUIDE PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR NEW SERVERS, IT HAS BEEN TESTED AND SUPPORTS EXISTING SYSTEMS AT TIME OF GA.
In Fulfillment Centers: Both fulfillment centers should be able to supply ServerGuide 4.0.4A as of June 11, 1998.
ServerGuide 4.0.4A ships with ALL IBM Netfinity and PC Server systems as of the end of July 1998.

US:
1. Call 1-800-426-7282 Option #4.
2. Requires a faxed copy of ServerGuide CD#1(Hardware Guide) (fax # provided at call-in time) and shipping information.
EMEA, LA and APS:
1. The customer contacts the IBM Country Marketing representative, who verifies that the customer has a ServerGuide license. SMS DS will only fulfill orders coming from the IBM Country Marketing rep.
2. The Country Marketing representative sends a note to 'SMCDS' or 'Copenhagen Internal IBM Orders and Queries/Denmark/IBM' with the following information:
Server Type (PC Server or Netfinity Server), quantity and 'ship to' name and address. Please always state 'SERVERGUIDE ORDER' in the header of the note.
