Aptiva - Checking the Windows 95/98 volume control settings

To open windows volume control:
Windows 98: Click on "Start", go to "Programs", "Accessories", "Entertainment" and click on "Volume Control".
Windows 95: Click on "Start", go to "Programs", "Accessories", "Multimedia" and click on "Volume Control".

Figure 1 shows the Volume control with 5 modules open. To open or close modules, click on "Options", then "Properties" then check or uncheck your preferred option.
To toggle between Playback and Recording modules, click on "Options" and then "Properties" and choose your preferred option.
To ensure your controls are optimized for Ring Central, we recommend that in the Playback option the only module to be muted should be mic. In the recording option no modules should be muted. It is also recommended that the volume sliders are up at least halfway.
