What is IBM SystemXtra?
The IBM SystemXtra Program is a new program from IBM, developed in coordination with our IBM Business Partners. The IBM SystemXtra Program combines technology, services, and financing to help our customers generate greater business value from their information technology, more control of their I/T investment, and greater ability to deal with the rapid pace of technology change.
Technologies - New , industry-leading manageability, monitoring and security technologies, which are included in many IBM PC Company systems:
- Wake on LAN (TM)
- LAN Client Control Manager (LCCM)
- Desktop Management Interface (DMI)
- IBM AssetXtra
- Data Protection
Services - Network management and support services provided by IBM via IBM Business Partners, sold as ServicePacs.
Note: The IBM SystemXtra Program does not apply to the Aptiva Product Family.
Financing -
- Hardware and services at attractive monthly rates.
- SystemXtra Technology Exchange Option (TEO) on certain IBM PC hardware, which lets customers upgrade their technology after only two years.
