Aptiva - Printing In WinOS2

Subject: Fix When Printer Prints Garbage from WINOS2
1.) Get a Windows driver loaded that works from native DOS/WIN.
2.) Get a Warp driver loaded that works from an OS/2 application.
3.) While booted to Warp, bring up WINOS2 Program Manager.
4.) Select Main, Control Panel, Printers
5.) Highlight the Windows printer driver that you want as the default.
6.) Select Connect, and pick LPT1.OS2 (assuming your printer port is LPT1). It is probably set to plain LPT1, and
that is the problem.

Subject: Printing Faxes with HP 660Cse using Windows 3.1
If you have not been able to print faxes on your Mxx using Windows 3.1 and an HP Mod 660 CSe ...
here is some help.
This is two phased:
Phase one is some setup needed one time only.
Phase two is what you do whenever you want a fax printed.
Phase 1:
Double Click on "Main" program group on the Program Manager screen
Double Click on "Control Panel"
Double Click on " Printers"
Click on "ADD>>" button
Find and choose "HP Deskjet Plus" (This assumes you've installed the HP drivers that
came with the 660cse..(which you would have to do to get the thing to work with any program.)
Click "Install" button
Close all open windows
Phase 2: (What you do when you want to print)
Double Click "Aptiva Communication Center" group (In not running)
Click "Fax" button
Click "Fax Log"
Click "Received Faxes"
Choose and Click the fax you want to finally be able to print
Click "Print Fax"
Click "Setup"
Click "Specific Printer"
Click on Arrow to show other printers..the little arrow pointing down
Click on "HPDeskjet Plus on LPTx:
Click "OK"
Click "OK" (On Print Fax menu)
