Netfinity 5500 - Hardset interrupts changing after reboot

SYMPTOM:
For all PCI Adapters and integrated adapters the interrupt value can be set to a specific interrupt value. The default setting is automatic.

On some levels of BIOS the specific interrupt values will randomly change to other values when the system is rebooted. This is seen on systems with BIOS level 1 (BIOS Flash Update Diskette v1.01 ) and lower.

PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
- The system is a Netfinity server, Type 8660, Model 11U, 1RU, 41U, 42U, 4RU, 4SU, 51U, 52U, 5RU or 5SU.

- Diagnostics pass
