Aptiva - How to install / uninstall CoSession
Applicable to: World-Wide
To remove cosession from an Aptiva:
1.) From the Windows 95 desktop, click on start, shutdown, choose the option to restart in msdos mode, and click on yes.
2.) At the C:\WINDOWS> prompt type cd\<ENTER>.
3.) At the C:\> prompt type deltree csw6b6<ENTER>.
4.) Answer yes to remove all subdirectories.
5.) Type exit<ENTER> to return to windows.
To reinstall CoSession on an Aptiva:
1.) From the Windows 95 desktop, click on start, shutdown, choose the option to restart in msdos mode, and click on yes.
2.) At the C:\WINDOWS> prompt, insert the Aptiva Product Recovery CD and wait for the drive light to go on and then off
3.) Type c:<ENTER>.
4.) With restore.exe in the root directory of the c: drive*, type the following: restore csw6b6\*.*<ENTER>.
6.) Remove the cd and type exit to return to windows.
