Aptiva - Printing envelopes on an HP LaserJet II/III
Applicable to: United States
Use the settings listed below to print standard business envelopes (Com #10) from the manual feed tray of the following printers: Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet Series II, LaserJet IID, LaserJet III, LaserJet IIID, and LaserJet IIISI. These settings may or may not work with other laser printers that feed paper tray.

When you print use standard business guidelines:
- If you are printing without a return address, type the mailing address in the upper-left corner of the document.
- If a return address is included, type the return address in the upper-left corner of the document. Enter seven to nine blank lines from the return address to the mailing address. Set a tab at 4 inches and set a tab at the beginning of each address line.
- Slide the manual feed guides together to hold the envelope. Open the back exit slot to help prevent paper jams. Feed the envelope face up and "stamp end" first.
