Modem Source: US Robotics (3COM), Single sourced.
Channels: Bundled with system , Retail and commercial, AAP.
The Crusher modem will be implemented in 3 different plans. The bundled, option, and Japan implementation. Each will have a different part number and schedule release dates.
The V.90 (56K) PC Card Modem is a full function PC Card modem that features ITU V.90, 56Kbps download capability, with RJ11 phone cable jacks that slides out from the modem (XJACK connector) The is compatible with all popular data and fax communication software applications and uses a standard Hayes-AT compatible command set. The modem is supported in, Windows 95, Windows NT4.0, operating system environments. Future releases are being evaluated for Windows 3.1, and OS/2 Warp 3.0 and 4.0 operating systems but are not committed. Features planned for this announcement:
