TP 345 - Battery Problem

Symptom:
There has been a report from the field that the some TP345's have been found with the wrong batteries fitted. Investigation has revealed the following.
Detail:- Battery required NIMH P/N 85G7603
Battery fitted NC P/N 84G6672
Fault description is that the battery cannot be recharged by the unit. This is caused by a TP340 battery fitted to a TP345. If the problem reported on a new TP345 is the battery will not charge , prior to removing any part check that the battery number is verified as P/N 85G7603.
Problem Isolation Aids:
None.
Fix:
The process has been corrected on the Manufacturing line.
