TP 600E - OS/2 Considerations

Considerations for using OS/2 Warp with the Thinkpad 600E

The following OS/2 operating systems support the IBM ThinkPad 600E new models at time of announcement.

• OS/2 Warp Version 4 (with FixPack 8, or later)
• OS/2 Warp Version 4, Japanese (with FixPack 8, or later)

• CardBus PC Cards and ZV Cards are not supported.
• The OS/2 native mouse driver does not work with ThinkPad 600E. The TrackPoint driver must be used.
• When installing OS/2 Version 4.0 on a hard disk with more than 4.3 GB capacity, use the latest installation diskette available on the IBM Web site.
• TrackPoint Scrolling function is not supported in a WIN-OS/2 session.
• SelectADock I and II require FixPack 6, or later.
