Dock I

DEVICE

Dock 1 DASD Bay

555MB Tape Drive

NOT supported - no ASPI drivers for Future Domain SCSI controller

1" High SCSI Drive

Needs the Dock I/II Internal SCSI kit (PN. 66G3513) and attaches directly

Half Height SCSI Drive

Drive will not physically fit in this bay

1" High IDE Drive

Needs the Dock I/II Internal SCSI kit (PN. 66G3513) and the IDE (60pin-to-40pin) cable which comes with the Dock I

ThinkPad Hard Disk

Needs the Dock I internal IDE disk drive installation kit (PN. 66G3502).

Dock I/II CD-ROM kit

This kit (CD_ROM) simply slides into the peripheral device bay and attaches to the Dock I via the internal SCSI cable

No kits needed - the drive slides into the bay and attaches to internal SCSI cable

Will NOT fit in right hand bay at all; Not Supported.

1" High SCSI Drive

Needs Dock I/II Internal SCSI kit (p/n 66G3513). Use the mounting bracket for this kit

Needs desktop Hard Drive installation kit (part number OHKITAY) and mount the drive in one of the trays.

Needs Dock I/II Internal SCSI kit (p/n 66G3513). Use one of the mounting brackets to mount this drive. You will also need the 8" IDE cable (60 pin-to-40 pin) that comes with the Dock II. This cable is grey and green.

Needs Desktop Hard Drive Installation Kit (p/n OHKITAY) - mount the drive in one of the trays. You will also need the 8" IDE cable (60pin-to-40 pin) that comes with the Dock II. This cable is grey and green.

ThinkPad Hard Disk

Needs the Dock I internal IDE disk drive installation kit (PN. 66G3502). Sometimes the cable to connect this to Dock II is very tight - see page 47 of Dock II user guide.

The IDE cable is too short to reach the drive. Not Supported.

Dock I/II CD-ROM kit

This kit (CD_ROM) can be mounted in the left hand bay - it simply slides into the bay and attaches to the internalSCSI cable.

Will not fit into the right bay.
Not Supported.
