TP 755 - Transfer Processor when Replacing System Board
Applicable to: World-Wide
Service Information:
Unlike the Thinkpad 750, the Processor card on the 755C, CS, CE, CSE and CD is a separate fru mounted on the underside of the system board. When replacing the system board, the processor card must be transferred from the original system board to the replacement. Failing to do so results in a machine with no signs of power.
