TP General - Re-Installing Ring Central Telephony Software

This procedure is applicable to machines that ship with Ring Central telephony software preloaded and a Thinkpad Customization CD for the preloaded operating system. The exact steps may vary slightly depending on the release Thinkpad Customization CD you are running. The steps below reflect the Thinkpad Customization CD for a Thinkpad 390 with Windows 98 preload. The basic idea is to run the Software Select Installer from the Thinkpad Customization CD and then Select Ring Central.
To install / reinstall Ring Central Fax - Telephony software.
From the Welcome screen of the Thinkpad Customization CD select;
1) System Customization
2) ThinkPad Software Select Wizard
3) Maximize the Software Select Installer
4) On either the Communications or View All Software tab select Ring Central Fax
5) Follow the on screen instructions which will direct you to Click the Install now button and follow the prompts
A Ring Central group will be added to the Start / Programs menu after installation. View the Ring Central Help file for additional information.
