CrossBrand - Windows95 Stuck in MSDOS Mode

There have been a lot of machines that have been shutdown in MS DOS mode and con't get out. So far,
there are 3 things that will cause this error. Here they are with their solutions:
Dos=single in the config.sys in the root of the dirve
Remove this line from the config.sys and reboot. Then try typing exit or win /wx.
BootGUI=0 in the MSDOS.SYS file
Set this line to BootGUI=1 and reboot. Then try typing exit or win /wx.
shell=c:\windows\command\command.com line in the autoexec.bat
Remove this line from the autoexec.bat and reboot. Then try typing exit or win /wx.
