IBM IntelliStation/IBM PC - PC Doctor for Windows 95 fails video test

SYMPTOM:
When running the PC Doctor for Windows application, intermittent errors occur when running the video test. The following or similar error message is displayed:
Video memory failure during pass xxx of 2000.
Wrote Pattern: 0F0F0F0FH
Read Pattern: 0F070F0FH
PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
This tip may apply to all models of IBM PC or IntelliStation systems installed with Windows 95 and running PC Doctor for Windows.
The error condition is limited to running multiple passes of the video test.
FIX:
To validate that no hardware failures have occurred, repeat the test using PC Doctor for DOS.
