IBM IntelliStation M Pro (Type 6889, 6898) - Windows NT 4.0 icons are displayed with incorrect colors

SYMPTOM:
After installing the Windows NT 4.0 Intergraph video driver, small icons on the Windows NT taskbar may be displayed with incorrect colors when subsequent applications are installed.
PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
This tip applies to the IBM IntelliStation M Pro Series 6898 and 6889 systems installed with Intergraph Intense 3D video adapters and running Windows NT 4.0.
Other systems that have been upgraded to the Intergraph Intense 3D video adapter may also disply the same symptoms.
FIX:
The "Pixel Color Format" setting in the Intergraph "Settings/Performance" dialog box under "Display Properties" should be changed from RGB to BGR.
The user will be prompted to restart Windows NT for the change to take effect.
