Creating the diskette
1. Download the file to a temporary directory on your hard drive.
2. Insert a blank, formated disk into the floppy drive.
3. Run the file by double-clicking on it from Windows Explorer.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen and it will expand the image onto your diskette drive.

This diskette is for Warp, required for the Trident 9320 chip set. The symptom is a black screen in graphics mode. These fixes should be okay on with any other chip set, but are not yet tested. To install:

COPY VGADOS x:\OS2\INSTALL\VGA
or
COPY VGABUN x:\OS2\INSTALL\VGA
where x: is the boot drive
(The VGADOS/VGABUN bundle is used for recovery selections when Alt-F1 is pressed during boot.)

COPY VSVGA.SYS x:\OS2\MDOS
COPY VVGA.SYS x:\OS2\MDOS
where x: is the boot drive

When installing Warp:
1. Make sure you have created the OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette using the Diskette Factory.
2. Start installing OS/2 Warp with the Diskette Factory diskettes.
3. When prompted to remove diskette 1 and restart the computer, insert the OS/2 Installation Diskette and restart the computer instead.
4. Continue the installation, following the instructions on the screen, until the "Welcome" screen appears.
5. Press F3 and go to the command prompt.
6. Insert the OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette(this diskette) into the diskette drive A.
7. Type the following command at the command prompt. The video driver files will be replaced. a:\repvga c where c is the drive where OS/2 Warp is installed.
8. Remove any diskettes from the diskette drive, then restart the computer.
9. When selecting a video driver, select a VGA display driver.
10. When prompted to remove any diskettes and restart the computer, insert the OS/2 Installation Diskette and restart the computer instead.
11. Continue the installation following, the instructions on the screen, until the "Welcome" screen appears.
12. Press F3 and go to the command prompt.
13. Insert the OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette(this diskette) into the diskette drive A.
14. Type the following command at the command prompt. The video driver files will be replaced. a:\repvga c where c is the drive where OS/2 Warp is installed.
15. Remove any diskettes from the diskette drive, then restart the computer.
16. Install the SVGA(800x600 or more with 256 colors or more) video mode driver using the ThinkPad760 Video Driver Diskette for OS/2.
