Aptiva - 2134/2176 Start IM error on bootup into Windows 95

Question:
When my systems boots up into Windows 95, I receive a Start IM error. How can I correct this on my Aptiva 2134/2176?

Answer:
If you recover the original preload on your Aptiva 2134/2176 and then get a Start IM error on start up, it is a result of not
having IBM AntiVirus setup. To correct this place the blue Diagnostic CD in the drive. Click on "START" and select "RUN". On
the Open Command line box type G:\IBMBUILD\IBMAV\IBMAV95\SETUP.EXE and press Enter. This will install IBM
AntiVirus on the system and correct the error on startup.
