Symptom:
Overall greenish tint.
Problem Isolation Aids:
This Tip is applicable to the following Models :
Machine type: 6554 models 603 and 604
Machine type: 6555 models 703 and 704
When attaching to RISC/6000, POWER PC and X-Station.
Fix:
There is a switch on the rear panel of the 6554(P70) and 6555 (P200) labeled 'BACKGROUND NORMAL/ADJUST'.This switch is pre-set in the factory at the 'NORMAL' setting.Some Graphics adapters, when configured for certain modes, require this switch to be set to the 'ADJUST' position.This change is due to the adapter supplying both external and composite syncs, and the monitor's inability to distinguish which sync to use. If your monitors appears to have an overall Green tint, you may required to alter the switch setting to the 'ADJUST' position.
