TP 600 - Considerations for Windows 95

Below is a list of considerations for running Windows 95 on your ThinkPad (for HGx, JBX, and JGx models)
- If the system is suspended or hibernated while playing Active Movie II in Windows 95 or Windows 98, the subsequent resume operation can cause the system to hang.

- If the system is suspended or hibernated while playing audio in Windows 95 or Windows 98,the subsequest resume operation can cause the system to hang or the audio may stutter.

- 56 Kbps modem support is available only on Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0. The 56K modems are designed to receive data at up to 56 Kbps from a 56K-compatible service provider (using the same protocol), and transmitting data at up to 33.6 Kbps. Public networks currently limit maximum download speeds to approximately 53 Kbps. Actual speeds depends on many factors and are often less than the maximum possible.

- CardBus does not support plug/unplug operation during suspend mode in Windows 95 or Windows 98 and Windows 3.1.
