Aptiva - How to set Ring Central as fax only
Applicable to: World-Wide
Ring Central can be set to receive fax calls and act like a regular fax machine.
For 2140 and 2142 systems:
1. Click Start -> Programs -> Ring Central -> Ring Central.
2. The Ring Central program will open; the interface will appear similar to Figure 1.

3. Click the Menu button located in the upper left-hand portion of the Ring Central screen, and the click Options on the drop-down menu.
4. The 'Mailbox Options' screen will appear. Click the tab labled Answering. The 'Mailbox Options: Answering' screen will come into focus. Click the radio button labled 'Answer as Fax Only' as shown in Figure 2.

5. Click OK. Ring Central will now answer the phone as a fax machine only. Ring Central will still answer all incoming calls but will only send faxes to the mailbox.
For Other system:
1. Click Start -> Programs -> Aptiva Productivity -> Aptiva Communications -> Ring Central.
2. The Ring Central program will open; the interface will appear similar to Figure 3.

3. Click the Menu button located in the lower righthand portion of the Ring Central screen, and the click Options on the drop-down menu.
4. The 'Mailbox Options' screen will appear. Click the tab labled Answering. The 'Mailbox Options: Answering' screen will come into focus. Click the radio button labled 'Answer as Fax Only' as shown in Figure 4.

5. Click OK. Ring Central will now ignore all incoming calls except faxes.
