TP General - Windows 95 exit to DOS hangs

SYMPTOM:
When you choose the option to shutdown -> restart computer in MS DOS mode, the ThinkPad hangs.

CONFIGURATION:
Any ThinkPad running Windows 95.

SOLUTION:
Go into Windows Explorer, Windows Folder, and Properties on EXIT TO DOS + Close Program -> ADVANCE, look in the config.sys section. There may be an extra line there that reads; DEVICE =C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MOUSE.DRV. If you remove this line, you then can boot to DOS mode.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Mouse.drv is not a DOS mouse driver and should not be loading in the config.sys. It is loaded in the System.ini file for Windows95.
