PS/1-Aptiva - Does my diskette need to be formatted before I use Copy Disk?

In Microsoft Works, there is a disk copy option under File Management called Copy Disk. If the target disk is unformatted, this feature both formats the target disk and copies the source disk, sector for sector. Therefore, it is not necessary to format disks before using this command. If the target disk is formatted, the disk is copied, but any information previously stored on the target disk is erased.
