IBM 3153 ASCII Terminal Display - Returning setting to IBM factory default
Applicable to: World-Wide
A user can reset the 3153 to the factory default setting by following the steps listed below:
1. Enter 3153 setup menu.
2. Enter the 'Print Exec' setup menu (press the Print key.)
3. Move cursor to 'Default Terminal' and press the enter key or space bar key to select. 3153 displays 'DONE' indicating that the action has completed.
4. Move cursor to 'Save Terminal' and press the enter key or space bar key to select. 3153 displays 'DONE' indicating that the action has completed.
5. Power off 3153.
6. Power on 3153.
The 3153 is now at the IBM Factory Default settings.
Notes:
The 3153 Factory default setup values were based on RS/6000 attachment.
