Aptiva - Restoring OS/2 CONFIG.SYS And The Desktop

To restore your CONFIG.SYS file or your Desktop, reboot (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and before the OS/2 startup logo appears, hold down [ALT]+[F1]. Keep holding them down until the speaker begins to beep, then release them.
This procedure causes OS/2 to rebuild the CONFIG.SYS and Desktop by restoring the CONFIG.SYS, OS2.INI, and OS2SYS.INI files.
Note:
Customization done to the desktop will be lost.
