Q: Can the UltraslimBay battery be used in the older ThinkPad 600 models?
A: No , there is not a connection for one in the UltraslimBay of the ThinkPad 600's, only in the ThinkPad 600E series.
Q: Will there be a second battery icon displayed in the Fuel Gauge program?
A: Yes, The IBM Fuel Gauge program will automatically display a second battery icon and the Windows 98 power management will display it as well , so long as the box "show details for each battery" is checked.
Q: Is it required that the primary internal battery be present in order for the UltraslimBay battery to work.
A: No, the UltraslimBay battery can both be charged and power the machine without the presence of the primary internal battery.
