Aptiva - 2140/2142 Pentium II systems fail warm boot

Abstract:
2140/2142 systems equipped with the Pentium II processor may not warm boot correctly from Windows 95.
Symptom:
When the control-alt-delete key sequence is pressed twice to restart the system, the system will lock during the subsequent boot at the Windows 95 splash screen.
Solution:
Do not used the control-alt-delete key sequence twice to restart the system. Instead, use the control-alt-delete key sequence once to get to the Close Program menu and select the 'shut down' button. Alternatively, Use the mouse to select Start | Shut down | reboot | OK.
