Aptiva - Formatting present in Preview but not on printout

If Microsoft Works for Windows displays the fonts and character formatting correctly but prints only in a draft quality font without any formatting, check the following:
1. From the File menu in Works for Windows, choose Print. In the Print dialogue box, clear the "Draft Quality Printing" check box.
2. From the File menu, choose Printer Setup:
a. Make sure the printer model selected matches your printer.
b. If the Printer Setup dialogue has a Print Quality field, set it to Letter Quality. Depending on the printer, the Options button may need to be selected first.
c. If the dialogue contains a Resolution setting, increase the resolution to a higher number. For example, with laser and ink jet printers, choose 300 dots per inch.
3. Check the printer cable connection. If the printer is connected via a switch box, connect the printer directly to the computer.
4. If you are using Windows version 3.1 and have a PostScript printer installed, do the following:
a. Select Printer Setup from the File menu and choose the Options button.
b. Select the Advanced button.
c. Clear the "Use Printer Fonts for all True Type Fonts" check box.
d. Clear the "Use Substitution Table" check box.
e. Clear the "Clear Memory Per Page" check box.
