Can I calculate times within MS Works?
Answer:
Yes. MS Works recognizes various time formats if they are enclosed in single quote marks ( ' ) and is flexible in reading them. When Works calculates times, it assigns a decimal fraction to the hour, minute, and second. If you have the formula '2:30:00 a.m.' - '12:00:00', Works converts the times to decimal fraction first, then calculates the elapsed time.
