IBM PC - Trap 0002 errors and system hangs with Toshiba SIMMs

Symptom:
Problem affects only PC 300 P60 and PC 700 systems. Trap 0002 errors / random system hangs when using 8MB or 16MB Toshiba parity SIMMs.
Problem Isolation Aids:
Problem does not occur when memory from an alternative source is substituted.
Fix:
Present field fix is to ensure that 8MB parity SIMMs from IBM, OKI or Samsung are used. Current Greenock production is based upon such configurations.
