TP 345 - Xircom COMBO (Ethernet+Modem 28.8) doesn't respond

Description :
Xircom COMBO card - Ethernet + Modem 28.8 PCMCIA card have no response on ThinkPad 345
on Telix or Windows -> Terminal. Three diskettes come with the PC Card, to resolve this problem, do the following:-
1. Install the three diskettes, the autoexec.bat file will be updated, some statment will be added while the config.sys stay the same.
2. Remark all the IBM ThinkPad socket service as well as the card service statments, also remark the autodrv.ini statment in the config.sys file.
3. Make sure there is no config in the port setting, i.e. if you have set the COM port as 2 for the Xircom PC Card to use, check if you have also set the serial port as COM 2.
