Crossbrand - SDLC On Pentium With CM/2

Service Information:
To run SDLC connection on CM/2 on Pentium machines, check in the CMSETUP for the "DLC using SNA Phone connections." Under "Link Station Role Parameters", make sure the box for "Send XID immediately" is NOT checked. If you do not do this, your link will fail and a datascope will show you're sending your XID followed by an infinite string of "FFFFF...".
