Considerations for Windows 95
When installing a 3270 PC Card, it may be necessary to reallocate memory assignments. It is recommended that the 3270 card use D0000h-D1FFFh.
Microsoft SideWinder joystick will cause system to hang when resuming from suspend or hibernation with Windows 95 OSR2.5J
ThinkPad Port Replicator with the Advanced EtherJet Feature cannot use IRQ 3 or 4.
Madge Smart RingNode MK2 causes the system to hang when resuming from hibernation.
Some garbage may appear on the external CRT when running in 256 color mode.
If the UltraBay Warm Swap driver is installed, the suspend/hibernation by timer feature does not work. If suspend/hibernation by timer feature is needed, remove the Warm Swap driver by going to
Start ==> Settings ==> Control Panel ==> Add/Remove Programs
.
When using the Margi ZV card, the playback screen sometimes becomes unreadable (audio is OK). To correct this, simply close the playback window once and then restart the playback.
