IBM PC330/PC350 - DX4 overdrive and Windows 32-bit disk access

Symptom:
PC 300 upgraded with IntelDX4 Overdrive cannot start Windows with 32-bit disk access enabled.
Problem Isolation Aids:
There appears to be an incompatibility with the PC 300 32-bit disk access drivers INT13IBM.386 / WDCTLIBM.386 when an IntelDX4 Overdrive is installed. The error message WDCTL failed validation appears
