TP General - How to select the MIDI synthesizer
Applicable to: World-Wide
This document contains instructions for both Windows 95 and Windows 3.1x on how to select the MWave Midi Synthesizer after installing MWave.
Windows 95:
1. Click on "Start", then "Settings", and then "Control Panel".
2. Click on "Multimedia", then "MIDI Tab".
3. Ensure "Single Instrument" Is Selected.
4. Highlight the "MIDI for IBM MWave MIDI Synth Device".
5. Click "Apply", then "OK".
Windows 3.1:
1. Double click on "Main", then "Control Panel".
2. Double click on "MIDI Mapper".
3. If not already selected, select "MWave Ext. GM".
4. Click on "Close".
