T55D 15" TFT LCD Color AGP Monitor - Cannot enable the 32-bit Z buffer

Symptom:
Every time the 32-bit Z buffer is used the US Robotics Winmodem is disabled.
Configuration:
Dell Dimension XPS PII 400Mhz
9513-DW1, S/N 5500232
AGP TFT 2D/3D G200 P&D A/D video card, part number 10L7127
Solution:
The problem is a result of the non-IBM computer. The Z buffer is a feature of the Matrox G200 video adapter that came bundled with the IBM 9513 Monitor and is found in Power Desk applet. The problem would still present itself it the PC was tested with other matrox adapters and displays. The problem does not arise when using the Monitor and adapter with an IBM PC. manufacturer of the non-IBM PC must be contacted.
