TP General - How to reset the HDD password on an IBM ThinkPad

Description:
How to reset the Hard drive password on an IBM ThinkPad.

Solution:
Note: this solution will only work if the password is known to the customer. If this is NOT the case, the HDD will have to be replaced. Switch the ThinkPad off, leave it for 5 sec, and then switch back on. When the prompt asks for a password, enter the password with a space at the end, and press Enter.
