Network Supplement 1.0.0
This supplement is already built into SCO Open Server version 5.0.2 and 5.0.4

The Networking Supplement 1.0.0 contains modifications to the base operating system, NFS and TCP/IP, and LAN Manager Client as well as new features such as TCP utilities, NetBIOS routing, additional security against IP address spoofing attacks, and PPP asynchronous serial driver support.

The Network Supplement can be located on the SCO bbs under the /Supplements/net100 subdirectory. The three files, labeled VOL.000.000, VOL.001.000, and VOL.002.000 can be copied to a Unix directory and placed on 1.44MB floppy disks using the command: dd if=VOL.00x.000 of=/dev/fd0 bs=36b

The SCO bbs can be accessed through anonymous FTP (ftp.sco.com) as well as the World-Wide Web
(http://www.sco.com).

This supplement includes the benefits of oss407a and oss410a, patches located on the SCO bbs in the /SLS subdirectory. The installation process checks for the presence of these patches and will refuse to install this supplement if either patch is present. If either are present, roll-back the patch before installing this supplement and do not re-apply them afterwards.

To install this supplement, follow the instructions for Release Supplement D (above). This supplement
should be installed AFTER installing Release Supplement D.

Advanced Hardware Supplement (AHS) 5.2

Other Supplements
Other supplements and patches may be obtained directly from the SCO bbs. A README file will be located in each directory giving a list of the filenames located in that directory and a brief description of each file. Every file listed should also be accompanied by another file with a ".ltr" extension which indicates that it is a "letter" or ascii file which describes the file itself. If unsure of the details or the installation procedures of a supplement or patch, always refer to the ".ltr" file.

Refer to the file "README.OSR5.Supplements" in the /SLS directory on the SCO bbs. This ascii text file contains useful information concerning additional supplements recommended for OpenServer v5.00 as well as OpenServer v5.0.2.
